It's hard to stand
by the end of this.
Life's a grift -
sometimes I wish I could just get rich.
My brain tingles.
Summer animals sit and mingle -
they got presents wrapped around a fallen tree.
I can't say
why I can't stay
on this mainland holiday.
2 days in, I stopped listening.
3 days in, realized we were just drifting.
4 days in, I got nothing to say.
5 days in, I'm over it anyway.
I can't say
why I can't stay
on this mainland holiday.
There's a thousand stories I could tell,
but most of them I'd rather not repeat.
It gets no better when I write it down,
but at least I'm not stuck lying through my teeth (my teeth).
Of all million ways that I could say, "I'm done.
I'm not having fun," I choose one,
So I'm packing my bags. I gotta get out
from this mainland holiday.
